However the player himself insisted that referee Alberto Undiano got it wrong during Germany's 1-0 loss to the White Eagles.
After the game, Loew said: "Klose should have been more careful there."
He refused to be too negative though, and added that Germany were in pole-position to qualify from Group D.
"Still we have enough quality to get through and we must not let our heads go down," he said. "We still have our fate in our own hands to reach the last 16."
Klose, who picked up two yellow cards in the first half for what looked like innocuous challenges, believed he should never have been dismissed.
"I tried to play the ball and it was no foul. The referee should have given me a ticking off instead of showing me the yellow.
"The team tried everything in the second half, they played well and fought hard. I would have liked to help the team."
